ROSEWOOD PET PRODUCTS LTD CONTINUES BUSINESS GROWTH BY JOINING FORCES WITH DAYES

Industry-leading Telford manufacturer Rosewood Pet Products Ltd is continuing with its ambitious growth plans after selling a majority stake in the company to Dayes.

Rosewood directors and major shareholders Neil and Bev Panter have teamed up with Dayes – a leading category specialist and supplier of everyday pet essentials.

The growth goes hand-in-hand with the firm’s move to a purpose-built 68,000 sq ft warehouse at Hortonwood West, Telford.

Telford & Wrekin Council’s Estates and Investments team helped Rosewood agree a deal to develop the impressive base and make it their new home.

Utilising the Growth Fund, the council purchased the site from the Homes and Community Agency through the Telford Land Deal programme and entered into an agreement with Rosewood to build the facility.

The additional space, which is fitted out with modern warehouse technology, has improved efficiency for customer dispatches and storage capabilities – giving the company the space it needs to pursue growth now and in the years to come.

Rosewood also received support from the council’s Enterprise Telford business team to secure a 15  year lease on the base.

Dayes offers brands including Sorbo, Tala, Best for your Friend, Pets Unlimited, Zenner, Healthpoint and DermaV10 in health care, home care, personal care and pet care categories.

Its concepts and brands are based on strong marketing and data – working with European food, online and drug store retailers.

Neil and Bev Panter, owners of Rosewood Pet Products said: “After 27 years of continuous growth we’ve reached the point where it is beneficial to team up with a bigger group to ensure the further development of our company.

“With Dayes we can offer a branded portfolio with proven success around Europe and utilise our joint strengths to ensure a long future.  Rosewood Pet Products Ltd has continued to grow   which has been facilitated by the move to Hortonwood West.”
