Lawley residents are being invited to give their view on proposals for a new housing development at Lawley West, Lawley.  The site is located to the north of Lawley Primary School, Pepper mill and Glendale with Arleston Lane dissecting the eastern and western parcels of the site.  

The site is allocated within the Telford & Wrekin Local Plan 2011-2031 and has a long standing allocation for residential development.  

Atkins on behalf of Telford and Wrekin Council and Homes England are seeking an outline planning permission for a residential development of up to 250 new 2, 3 and 4 bed family homes on land at Lawley West as well as dedicated play areas and additional parking for the local school and residents.

We are keen to hear your thoughts on the proposal and are running a 2 week online Pre-Planning Public Consultation to allow people to provide their views on the proposed scheme. This will run from 9am on Thursday 25th July 2024 to 5pm on Friday 9th August 2024.

Telford and Wrekin Council will also be holding an in-person Pre-Planning Public Consultation with representatives from the applicant, where information banners on the scheme will be displayed on the 25th July 2024 from 14:00 – 20:00 which will be held at the Lawley Community Hub, Unit 3 Lawley Square, Birchfield Way, Lawley, Telford, TF3 5BZ.  

The display banners will remain at the Lawley Community Hub on Friday 26th July and Monday 29th July - Friday 2nd August 2024 between 09:00 – 16:30 for people to view.

In addition to the online questionnaire, feedback forms will be available for submission to those that attend the Lawley Community Hub to view the banners.
